Delivers project-specific volume and dimensions
Volume or layout requirements that fall outside the standard catalog are engineered specifically to match the existing site dimensions.
Product group · Hygienic Process Equipment
Custom-built stainless tanks are manufactured to the project for volume, layout and connection needs that standard sizes cannot cover. Whether the shell is horizontal or vertical, the position of the manway, the leg arrangement and the nozzle positions are all determined by the intended use. At Denfor Endüstriyel, we build custom tanks in AISI 304 and AISI 316L grades, as single-walled, jacketed or insulated, with hygienic or flanged connection types. Before manufacturing, dimensions and nozzle layout are clarified together on a technical drawing.

Why it matters
Provides a project-specific solution for volume, layout and connection needs that standard sizes don't cover.
Volume or layout requirements that fall outside the standard catalog are engineered specifically to match the existing site dimensions.
The appropriate stainless grade is chosen based on the fluid's chemical content, producing a corrosion-resistant, long-lasting tank.
The position of the manway, the leg arrangement and the nozzle positions are determined by the layout of the site where the tank will be installed.
Depending on whether the product needs temperature control, a choice is made between single-walled, jacketed or insulated shell options.
Types
All three are manufactured to the project; what sets them apart is the shell construction and temperature control need.
Built with an economical, simple construction for storage-only projects that don't require temperature control.
A double-walled shell provides hot/cold water or steam circulation, keeping product temperature within the desired range.
An insulation jacket is applied to the outside of the shell, keeping the stored product's temperature for longer and reducing heat loss.
Selection criteria
Selection cannot be made without the first two items. The rest determine the shell construction and connection type.

Create a quote requestFAQ
The questions we hear most often when quoting custom-built stainless tanks.
Standard tanks are limited to the specific volume and equipment options in the catalog; custom-built tanks are engineered from scratch to match site dimensions, volume and connection needs.
First, the volume, layout and nozzle positions are clarified together on a technical drawing; after approval, the process continues through manufacturing and quality control.
A horizontal shell is preferred over a vertical one in projects with limited ceiling height, or where the tank will be mounted on a platform or vehicle.
Depending on the project, revision work such as adding a nozzle, applying a jacket or renewing the inner surface can be considered for an existing tank; this is confirmed after a site survey.
